The data presented here includes newspapers that are members of the Newspaper Publishers Association (NPA), and therefore excludes titles from Express Newspapers (Express and Star). The data is taken from the following NPA newspapers - 

  • Associated Newspapers (Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday and Evening Standard)
  • Guardian News & Media (The Guardian and The Observer)
  • Independent News and Media (The Independent and The Independent on Sunday)
  • Mirror Group Newspapers (Daily Mirror, Sunday Mirror and The People)
  • News International (The Sun, The Times, The Sunday Times, News of the World) 
  • Telegraph Media Group (The Daily Telegraph and The Sunday Telegraph)
  • The Financial Times
  • For details on how to access data from previous years, please see the foot of this page
