February's winner comes from Abott Mead Vickers BBDO and is for the Samaritans.
Along with all this month's nominees they go through to the final of the inaugural ANNA Awards.
The awards spotlight creative excellence in national newspaper advertising. Each month up to eight ads are short-listed as potential winners. But only one can win the monthly award. All the monthly winners and nominees are considered for the £25,000 'winner of winners' prize.

The Judge
February's awards were judged by Richard Flintham, Creative Director at Fallon.
Richard chose the Samaritans ad as the winner:

"This was a real lesson in how often we all get caught up in our little worlds of cleverness and sublety.
Three weeks in and I still couldn't find anything to beat 'Lose weight with Vinegar'. And then a giant little small space ad for the Samaritans punched massively above its weight and made me pick it."
