Press advertising doesn't get much more arresting than this.

The morning after the night before, the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), ran this full page ad in a move which capitalises on the many column inches generated by last night's vote in Parliament to ban fox hunting with dogs in today's newspapers.

The striking close-up image of a fox reinforces the ad's 'public agenda' role while the simple headline;

'Thank You'

makes it clear that IFAW are wholeheartedly in support of a ban. With a Commons majority of 356 to 166, IFAW are pleased to be able to announce 'the beginning of the end'.

Planned and bought by Total Media, with creative by Velocity, this clear and overtly political ad is our breaking ad of the day.
