All the awards are judged by fellow professionals. The creative awards are judged by creatives, the awards involving creative and media teams are judged equally by top creatives and media professionals.
The monthly nominations, the Craft Skills Awards and the Winner of Winners Award are judged by creative directors from leading ad agencies.

The prizes are given out at our awards event every January. All the teams nominated for the awards are invited, along with leading figures from advertising and media agencies, their clients and the national newspapers, and hosted by a top comedian
When an ad is nominated, we contact the agency's creative director to find out who created it. We then write to everyone in the team individually to congratulate them.
The judges decide on the awards in December each year, and they are announced to the ANNAs awards event in January. All the creative teams behind all the nominated ads are invited to the event, but the winners won't know until the host announces that they have won.
